Bathroom Organization

Feel like your bathroom is in disarray?   As always, first things first.  Start by going through your bathroom and discarding anything you have not been using or probably won’t use soon.  My favorite space saver is your behind-the-door storage.   In the bathroom, you can use pockets or basket organizers for things like hair accessories, combs, brushes, hand towels, soaps, and hygiene products.

Just like the pantry, don’t forget the floor space.  Bring in cabinets, standing toilet paper towers or cabinet organizers, or a rolling cart for extra storage.   Make the most of your vertical space by using an over-the-toilet cabinet and some additional shelves near the sink for daily products.  I have even seen mounted shelves in the window. I just would not put certain items that are affected by bright light on them.  You can use wicker baskets on the shelves to add some décor to the bathroom.  In the shower, you can add some hanging organizers.   Under the sink can be organized with some clear pull-out drawers or tiered slide-out sink storage.

If you have a closet in the bathroom, clear bins, baskets, and hampers can help you organize the closet space.  Hooks for your towels also add extra style to your bathroom.    Remember, if there are little ones in the house, put the hooks at the appropriate height.   Just organizing the drawers can help create more space in the bathroom.  Drawer dividers to section off space in the drawer, or bins, will create more space and functionality.   A wall mount hair tool organizer for the hair dryer, curling iron, brush, or flat iron will help keep the counters clear.   Magnetic strips on the inside of the medicine cabinet door are a great place to store grooming supplies like scissors, tweezers, metal clips, or nail clippers.
